Have you ever thought about running for local office or being a delegate to the Libertarian National Convention in Reno? Want to meet other local libertarians and help us spread the voice of freedom across Maine? Then join us on November 7th at the Old Town Community Center (261 N Main St, Old Town) at 11AM to vote for your favorite candidate, run yourself, or just meet likeminded people.

After we finish nominating and endorsing our candidates we will elect our delegates to the National Convention this March then enjoy lunch.

Make sure to stick around after lunch for an “Activist Training Session” where we will talk about different ways you can get involved using your skill set, how to do door-to-door activism, making phone calls, and more.

If you’re an endorsed candidate or delegate make sure to stick around after the activist training to learn more about public speaking, radio/tv/podcast interviews, how to create a platform, and more followed by a session for delegates and alternates. You will learn what to expect in Reno, a brief overview of Roberts Rules, travel preparedness and other things first time delegates forget.

This event is completely FREE of charge for all members of the Libertarian National Party and/or the Libertarian Party of Maine and children.

*Please note that you must be a member of either the LP National Party or the Libertarian Party of Maine to be a delegate or get endorsed.*
